
Who am I? What shape am I? How warm am I? Do the trees like me? What am I doing here, surrounded by confetti and blood and all these dead frogs?
Sam is a writer, actor and political organiser living in London. He recently appeared in Jojo Rabbit directed by Taika Waititi and The French Dispatch directed by Wes Anderson. Sam has developed original projects with BBC Studios and Objective Fiction, and his television work includes roles in Costiera, Extraordinary, Bridgerton and Masters of the Air. He is the writer of Extinction, a short film starring Emma Thompson, and has performed comedy in venues around the world.
Sam is also the editor of This Is Not A Drill, published by Penguin Books, and has written articles for Jacobin, Tribune, and Novara Media. He previously coordinated the political strategy of Extinction Rebellion, which resulted in the UK becoming the first country in the world to declare a climate emergency. Since then, he has worked on campaigns with Green New Deal Rising, Momentum, Minga Indígena, and the Climate Justice Coalition. He has helped to organise hundreds of protests — some more successful than others.
