Sam is a writer, actor and political organiser living in London. He recently appeared in Jojo Rabbit, directed by Taika Waititi, and The French Dispatch, directed by Wes Anderson. His television work includes Extraordinary, Bridgerton, and Masters of the Air. Sam previously wrote Extinction, a short film starring Emma Thompson, and has performed comedy in venues around the world.

Sam is particularly interested in issues of climate and ecological justice. He has written articles for Jacobin, Tribune, Novara Media, Huffington Post, and other publications. He is also the editor of This Is Not A Drill, published by Penguin Books in 2019.

Sam continues to campaign for climate, social, and economic justice. He currently works for Green New Deal Rising and previously coordinated the political strategy of Extinction Rebellion, which resulted in the UK becoming the first country in the world to declare a climate emergency. He has helped to organise hundreds of protests against oil companies and rightwing politicians — and is inspired every day by the ordinary people fighting for a fairer, kinder future.

Sam uses different names for different things. If you find that confusing, then fair enough. Hopefully, most of his work can be found here.
